Tortas Frontera

Had a delicious torta at Tortas Frontera at the Chicago airport. Pro tip is definitely to order ahead. Right before take off I placed the order for when I would arrive. Upon arrival my torta was hot and ready to go, which was a great call since the line is very long here. I ordered the beef quesabirria torta which was money! The meat was tender and a bit spicy, great handheld meal while getting to my next flight.

If you have the time, this is worth a stop when connecting at O'Hare. Expect the line to be long because it takes a little while to make a torta. You can order ahead, get take out, or dine in. All options are perfectly suitable depending on your layover.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered a Cuban torta and my husband a milanesa and they were delicious, every ingredient was fresh and put it together very neat, I’ll love it the tortas were lil bit bigger!

Tortas Frontera uses high-quality ingredients from top local providers of all natural meats and dairy, organic produce, artisan breads, and stone-ground tortillas. When I travel through O’Hare, I look forward to going to Tortas Frontera!

Corn chowder and cauliflower sandwich were delicious. Tasted fresh and flavorful. Service and hospitality was great.

I hadn't had Mexican food in a while, and this restaurant's sandwich preparation caught my eye. I ordered the soup and the Chicken Chipotle sandwich. The soup was delicious, featuring fresh avocados and tortillas, while the sandwich was loaded with avocados and served on crispy bread. Overall, it was a great experience! If you're in a rush, this is a fantastic spot for a quick lunch or breakfast. Highly recommend!

By far the best airport food you can get. I always stop here when I’m in Chicago. Going out of my way to eat here. Bar tenders are always friendly too!! All around great vibe at this place. A welcomed energy on a long travel day

Got to the airport early and was in need of a good quality cocktail and a snack. I ordered the Ancho Mezcal drink as well as the almost naked guacamole and chips. It was AMAZING. Such good quality, I was super impressed for an airport restaurant. The server/waitress Reyna was so lovely. So attentive and on top of everything. Would recommend this to anyone craving a Mexican spot /good food in this airport.
